Mobile Applications
Cross-platform application building is one of my favorite things to do. Swift was actually the first programming language I set out to learn, before pivoting to React Native. I’ve come to love Expo as a framework and community. I’m happy to be in this space in any capacity, and I’m grateful to my peers and those who publish instructional content, helpful packages, and open code repositories for all to use.
I use an Android simulator and a physical iPhone along with Expo Go, which allows me to rapidly prototype and test on different screen sizes and operating systems. I host APIs on my VPS that both the mobile applications and website can access. Offline-first data flows, responsive UI systems, thoughtful navigation, and accessibility are just a handful of the things that are becoming second nature to my pipeline. You can see my tech stacks in each of these portfolio pieces.
