iSquared (name pending)
Developer tools today, growing toward an environment for people and agents to build and verify software together.
iSquared is the working name for the broader development environment I am building from Mr. DJ’s Dev Suite. The delivered MDS foundation includes a CLI, Doctor checks, project generation, onboarding, knowledge resources, MCP integration, and workflows for keeping project context alongside the work.
The next direction brings those capabilities into a coordinated environment with project awareness, isolated sessions, review, and human attention. The screens on this page are design prototypes of that direction, not evidence that the full desktop IDE or cross-device system has shipped. Existing repositories, packages, and commands still use MDS while the name is being decided.
Start with tools that do useful work
Delivered foundation: Mr. DJ’s Dev Suite (MDS).
MDS provides project generation and onboarding, a searchable knowledge library, MCP tools, and Doctor checks for application readiness. The CLI and agent integrations make those capabilities available in development workflows. They form the delivered foundation beneath the broader iSquared idea.
Use the foundation to prototype AR apps
I used MDS to set up the shared AR prototyping workspace for Neo Rock ’Em Sock ’Em Robots, Medimagen, and Guess the Qubit. Its project memory and validation workflows helped me organize decisions and check the prototypes as the three apps developed.
Design around projects and sessions
Design exploration — the broader environment is under development.
Design prototype: Project Home with illustrative sessions, human tasks, reviews, and project memory.
The proposed environment moves from a cross-project Home into Project Home, then a session, review, and completion. The prototypes explore what needs human attention, what an agent is working on, and what evidence is ready for review. Their example projects, progress indicators, and agent activity are illustrative.
Give coordination a recognizable face
Infie artwork and interface prototypes for a product in development.
Infie character artwork for the coordinator concept.
Infie is the coordinator concept: help people notice the right work, route it into sessions, and follow it through review. The character artwork explores that role visually. The planned Code-OSS host, iSquared Core service, and companion surfaces remain distinct from the delivered MDS CLI and tooling.
